RADLEY and Oxford City dominated the junior categories at the final round of the 2009-10 season.
Radley kick-started the day as they recorded a clean sweep of trophies in the under 11 boys’ category.
Robert Crowther lifted the title, with Jonathan Hancox taking second and TJ McClimont third.
Nawal Elkirate lifted the under 11 girls’ crown.
There was a tie in the under 13 girls’ category, with City’s Beth Hawtin sharing the title with Radley’s Megan Humphreys.
Christian von Eitzen (Radley), who had already wrapped up the under 13 boys’ title, competed as a guest in the combined under 15/17 boys’ race, finishing in an impressive second place.
Lauren Hawtin won the under 15 girls’ title, finishing seven points ahead of Connie McMillan from Banbury.
The under 17 girls’ title was won by Jade Walker, while George Miller (Radley) took the under 17 boys’ crown.
At under 20 level, Beth Alston (Oxford Brookes University) took the title, while Newbury’s Alex Muir was the men’s champion.
All the junior team titles went the way of either Oxford City or Radley.
City’s A team saw off Swindon Harriers by 43 points to win the under 13 girls’ title, while Radley A held off Witney Roadrunners A to win the under 13 boys’ title.
In the combined under 15/17 girls’ competition, City were dominant throughout the season, winning the crown by a massive margin.
And Radley A won the under 15/17 boys’ prize – finishing 63 points clear of Oxford City.
