James Cathcart kicked 14 points as Chinnor earned a 24-16 victory at Cleve.
Liam Gilbert returned at No 8 after injury in place of Tom Mowbray in the only change to the side beaten by Oxford Harlequins.
Cathcart put Chinnor ahead with a third-minute penalty, and lock Harry Jackman’s try made it 8-0.
Cleve hit back to lead 13-8 at the break with fly half Matt Spencer converting lock Dave Partington’s try and adding two penalties.
The latter came after Chinnor full back Alex Wallace was sin-binned.
Wallace made amends with a 46th-minute try, converted by Cathcart.
Cathcart slotted three more penalties to Spencer’s one to seal victory.
