Manager Chris Wilder said that his side must take their shooting practice onto the pitch after seeing his team fail to score at home for the second successive game, writes JON MURRAY.
“I’d have taken a scrappy win today,” he said.
“They’re not easy opponents, they pass the ball well, they play in a shape that frustrates, and they’re good on the counter.
“Hopefully, Kidderminster will go away to grounds and take a lot of points off people.
“They’ve been difficult opponents over the two games, we’ve not come away with the best of records against them.”
And United’s manager said that, as much as they practise finishing on the training ground, that’s no guarantee that players can then do it when it matters.
“We do shooting sessions and finishing sessions,” he said. “But it’s no good us doing it on the training ground, it’s about us doing it in front of 6,000 people.
“And that’s what divides players – can they do it under real big pressure?”
