Milton Utd 3 (Williams 28, Thorne 34, Dunk 76)
Holyport 4 (Hanscombe 35, 64, Lennon 39, Hankins 85)
Milton lost a two-goal lead in an eventful Division 1 East game, that not only produced seven goals, but also sending-offs and two penalty disputes.
Two goals midway through the first half by Ryan Williams and Liam Thorne seemed to put Milton in charge.
Jamie Hanscombe pulled one back for Holyport, while Arron Lennon equalised from a disputed penalty before half-time.
Milton, who had strong penalty appeals turned down before the break, had centre half Adam Pilling sent off early in the second half following a flare-up.
Hanscombe put Holyport in front, before Milton equalised through substitute Ben Dunk.
Both sides pushed for the winner, which was scored by Holyport sub Lee Hankins There was still time for Holyport’s Dan Rapley to upset the official and be sent for an early bath.
Clanfield 2 (Everett 3, Dickinson 18)
Headington Ams 0
Clanfield gained some measure of revenge for defeats in the league and the Oxfordshire Senior Cup when two first-half goals gave them victory over their high-scoring opponents in Division 1 West.
Good interplay between Adam Little and Eddie Everett saw the latter soon put Clanfield ahead.
Home keeper Chris Brain made two brilliant saves before Steve Olphert’s free-kick found teenage defender Karl Dickinson, who headed home.
Both sides had strong penalty appeals turned down.
Letcombe 1 (Horswell 70)
Wootton Bassett 2 (Oram 51, Joyce 88)
Letcombe gave a much-improved performance against promotion candidates Wootton Bassett, but ultimately their failure in the air at set-pieces cost them a point.
Sean Webb, on loan from Wantage, returned to help out his former club Letcombe, who went behind early in the second half when Chris Oram was given too much time in the six-yard box.
Letcombe equalised midway through the half, Lyle Gifford providing the pass for Pete Horswell to score.
With Mark Denny working tirelessly, the home side looked likely winners.
But Fraser Joyce was allowed a free header at a corner to secure the visitors all three points.
