Ticket had virtually sold out this afternoon for Oxford United’s all-ticket Blue Square Premier game against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road next Tuesday.
Oxford United supporters without a valid ticket for this match should not travel to this game. United were allocated 1500 unreserved seats in the Oak Road Stand.
It’s funny how, back at the start of the season, everyone thought Luton would be Oxford’s biggest rivals for automatic promotion. But they have had a difficult first season in the Conference, as so often happens when teams drop down.
Nevertheless, they are rebuilding under new boss Richard Money, and will still fancy their chances of reaching the play-offs.
The Hatters have Craig Nelthorpe, on loan from York, but other ex-Oxford players Andy Burgess and Steve Basham have themselves been loaned out.
