Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers was pleased with his side’s efforts against Maidenhead despite a mixed second half.
He said: “I would have accepted that performance and scoring seven tries beforehand.
“In the first half, we looked very well organised and at times were very clinical.
“We lost our shape a little bit in the second half and when we did that, it showed.
“I thought our back row were really well balanced, we scrummaged well and the line-out was good.
“Our ability to move the ball out wide really showed. It was a lot better than last week.
“We could have and perhaps should have sustained that level throughout.
“But often in the second half we tried to score off every phase rather than stick to our game plan.
“It was good to have a home game in front of a good crowd.”
