Banbury's Will Bratt returns to track action next week in rounds three and four of the GP2 Asia Series in Abu Dhabi.
Bratt is relishing returning to action, having not raced since the championship-opener in November.
The 21-year-old said: “It’s been a long break, so I can’t wait to get back.
“We had a good showing last time in Abu Dhabi and I’m feeling quietly confident we can improve and push forward.
“The Paul Ricard test went very well. I felt comfortable and the track time helped me adapt to the GP2 car.”
Bratt aims to take his maiden GP2 points in Abu Dhabi.
He said: “It’s vital we hit the ground running and qualify as strong as we can.
“I’m enjoying being a GP2 driver. It’s the premier championship outside Formula 1 and I hope to be successful.”
Qualifying and round three are on Friday, February 5, with round four on the Saturday. The races are being televised by British Eurosport.
