Garsington Sports moved to within a point of Premier Division leaders Rover Cowley with an impressive 4-1 victory at Stonesfield in the Oxfordshire Senior League.
In an entertaining first half, Garsington stormed into a 3-1 lead with goals from Jamie Mahon, Carl Bloomfield and Jelroy Constant, with Dan Sherbourne hitting back from the penalty spot for Stonesfield.
After the break, Garsington had to withstand severe Stonesfield pressure, before they sealed victory through Jay Morris.
At the bottom of the table, Chadlington fought back before beating fellow strugglers Oxford University Press 5-3.
OUP took the lead early on through Jay Brown’s individual strike and although Alan Shadbolt levelled, Matty Spooner restored their lead.
Jamie Wyatt made it all-square, only for Shane Peddle to give Chadlington the lead from close range.
Three minutes before the break, Matt Crook made it 4-2 to Chadlington.
Twenty minutes into the second half, Brown reduced the deficit, before Wyatt sealed the win for Chadlington.
Dave Smith, Andy Wiffen, Kristian Thomas and Daniel Jones were on target for Kidlington Old Boys in their 4-1 success at Middleton Cheney in Division 1.
The hosts took the lead when Chris Heritage tapped home a cross from Stuart White.
However, that sparked Kidlington into life and they hit back in style for victory.
Eynsham Res eased to a 3-0 win at home to Garsington Res.
Gavin Welch opened their account in the first half from David Pryse’s cross.
After the break, Paul Woolford saved a Garsington penalty before Andy Glossop and Adam Woolford wrapped up the win.
Mansfield Road saw off Broughton & North Newington 3-2, with goals from David Kay, Jamie Cockfield and Luis McGillycuddy.
Yarnton won 3-1 against ten man Oakley United.
Defender Steve Wren was sent off after only six minutes for a professional foul.
Yarnton took the lead when Adam Browning fired in Jimmy Bowerman’s cross.
In the second half, Paul Sinner made it 2-0 from the penalty spot after Mark Harper was brought down.
Although Jamie Smith pulled one back, Luke Browning netted Yarnton’s third.
Strikes from Adam Baker, Nick Harrison, Dan Savin and Lee Clack earned Slade Farm United a 4-0 victory at North Oxford.
Doubles from Stuart Wells and Warren Jones saw Bletchingdon Res to a 5-0 win at Long Crendon In Division 2.
Gareth Davies was their other marksman.
Arron Mullins bagged a brace in Chadlington Res’ 3-2 success against Charlton Res in Division 3.
Chris Wilson got their other, with Will Cooper and Leon Wright replying.
Kieran Chambers hit a four-timer for Slade Farm Res in their 7-1 win at Enstone Res.
Dan Buckley weighed in with a hat-trick, while Lee McCallum netted for Enstone.
Watlington Res romped to a 6-2 victory at home to BCS Bardwell Res, thanks to a hat-trick from Conor Blayachi.
An own goal from Jason Valinder, Alex Blayachi and Alex Griffiths sealed it.
Steve Crooks scored a double in reply for Bardwell.
