Henley Hawks lost 26-15 at Richmond in their first National 2 South match since December 12.
Two tries in three minutes put Richmond on top, with Toby Henry and Edward Rosa touching down, Matt Hart converting both.
Richmond had Tom George yellow-carded before scrum half James Gaunt pulled a try back for Henley on 34 minutes.
The hosts went further ahead just after the break with a try from Tim Cook.
Hawks have lock Steve Green sin-binned on 52 minutes, with Rosa scoring Richmond’s fourth try, converted by Hart, soon afterwards.
Replacement fly half Will Fulron slotted a 61st-minute penalty for Henley and converted a try from wing Dave Birtwistle, another sub, eight minutes later.
