Wallingford fell away in the final quarter to lose 39-13 at Swanage & Wareham in South West 2 East.
The visitors had led 13-12 thanks to a 46th-minute penalty from Jackson Sayce, but the south coast side scored three tries in the final 15 minutes.
Sayce put Wallingford ahead with a penalty after three minutes.
The hosts replied with tries from Robert Elford and Dafydd Wright, the latter convered by Phil Graves, to lead 12-3 at the break.
However, centre Richard Turner touched down for Wallingford on 42 minutes, with Sayce converting and soon adding a penalty.
Graves replied with a penalty and added two conversions as Oliver Andrews, Michael McKeown, Darren Wilcox and Alan Woodward all crossed for Swanage.
Adam Thompson bagged a brace of tries as Alchester won 20-6 at home to Drifters in the BB&O Premier Division.
Drifters had won the first meeting and led 6-0 this time with two penalties.
Full back Adam White replied with a penalty for Alchester, but they suffered a blow when Ben Ancil was sin-binned for a late tackle.
Despite this, Thompson crashed over for his first try to put Alchester 8-6 ahead at half-time.
The hosts’ dominant scrum earned a pushover try for No 8 Joe McAneaney, which White converted.
Late on, Thompson was driven over following a line-out.
Gosford All Blacks were pipped 11-8 at home to Thatcham.
Flanker Dave Thomas’s try and Toby Littlechild’s penalty put Thatcham 8-0 ahead.
Gosford went close through Alex Webb and Dan Hughes before Tim Ellis slotted a penalty.
Webb was yellow-carded and Littlechild’s second penalty made it 11-3.
Full back Murray Stewart scored a deserved try for Gosford, but they could not avoid another tight defeat.
Harwell lost 62-10 at Broadmoor Staff, who resumed top spot.
Wing Tony Nicholas’s try gave Harwell a shock lead, while fly half Andy Lee scored in an improved second-half display.
Didcot suffered a 37-15 defeat at Thatcham 2nd in Division 2 South.
Their tries came Doug Gayley and Barry Llew-ellyn, with Paul Costello kicking a conversion and a penalty.
