Oxford reached the Oxfordshire Shield semi-finals with a 25-7 home victory over last season’s runners-up, Blue Boar.
Three quick-fire tries put Oxford in control at the end of the first half, with Dom Coe scoring the first.
Phil Longuet-Higgins added a solo score, while Duncan Lynchsmith ran in from halfway and Rob Milnes added a penalty.
Nathan Davis off-loaded for Tom Johnson to notch Oxford’s fourth try, converted by Coe.
Blue Boar kept pushing and managed a late consolation try.
