TRAFALGAR Cup winner and Oaks runner-up Freedom Emma now has the Derby in her sights.
Formerly owned by the late Stuart Locke-Hart and now in the name of his son Nick, Emma will go for the Blue Riband in June.
Handler Richard Yeates plans to run the bitch in a few high-profile TV races as preparation, and will also be entering the unique Oxford treble winner Jolly Poacher for the Wimbledon classic.
Meanwhile, top stayer Melodys Comet, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, will be back open racing next month.
Former champion trainer Hazel Dickson, of Wembley fame, will head a syndicate for Yeates’s good stayer Fathers Dream.
She was, of course, no stranger to the winners enclosure at Oxford Stadium.
