Banbury-based karting team Stuart Wright Racing have snapped up three of the hottest properties around ahead of their inaugural season.
Reigning Kartmasters champion Jordan King (KF2) and rising stars Roy Johnson and Charlie Robertson (both KF3) have signed up for the forthcoming campaign, leaving just one more place to fill in the new team.
SWR intends to conduct a full British programme this year at both MSA and Rotax level – comprising Formula Kart Stars (FKS), Super 1, Kartmasters and the ‘O’ Plate – as well as club meetings at PF International, Shenington, Kimbolton and Whilton Mill when no clashes occur, and the European qualifiers and finals.
Johnson made history in 2008 by clinching all four major British crowns in the Cadet class, a spectacular feat that neither Jenson Button nor Lewis Hamilton could even achieve.
