Oxfordshire county player Deta Hedman was on top of the world after she beat 15-time world champion Phil Taylor.
Hedman achieved the notable feat during Tuesday night’s official opening of the new Rileys Dart Zone in Cowley.
And she did it in style, with a 13-dart leg to defeat Taylor.
It completes a remarkable fortnight for Hedman, 50, who reached the semi-finals of the Lakeside World Championships – the first time she has taken to the stage at Frimley Green.
She went out to eventual winner and ex-Oxfordshire ace Trina Gulliver.
