Meanwhile, Oxford University wing Sean Morris, an unused replacement at Twickenham in December, has been named in England Students’ 26-man squad.

But former Chinnor wing Tom Shiel (Durham University) missed out after making the initial squad.

The students face the Portuguese national team in Lisbon on January 30, Irish Colleges at Kingston Park, Newcastle on February 26 and France Universities in Riom on March 19.
