Former Kidlington Royals striker Mark White had a day to remember as he smashed a magnificent seven-timer for his new club Blacks Head Bletchingdon in their 13-4 crushing of Leys Wanderers in the only Autotype UTV League fixture to survive the arctic conditions.
The victory boosted the Bletchingdon side’s hopes of escaping relegation from Division 3A.
White’s brother, Andy White, was also on the scoresheet for Blacks Head, with a double as did Chris Thorne and Alex Gardner.
Sam Tombs bagged a brace in reply for the Oxford-based outfit, with goals from Martin Edwards and Lee Jackson completing their tally.
