Glory Farm continued their recent run of good form with an impressive 4-2 victory at Kings Sutton in the Premier Division of Banbury District & Lord Jersey FA.
But they did it the hard way after coming from behind before securing victory.
Chris Glasson gave Sutton the lead with a fine breakaway goal in the first half.
After the break, though it was a completely different story as Glory Farm stormed into a 3-1 lead through Paul O’Neill, Jamie Hulcombe and Mike Woodward.
Glory Farm’s Chris Schooling then produced a magnificent goal-line clearance to deny Kings Sutton a second.
However, Schooling was left helpless when Ollie Hemblen rose above the Glory Farm defence before heading home from the resulting corner.
As Kings Sutton pressed hard for an equaliser, Mike Woodward completed his brace after rounding the keeper to seal it for Glory Farm following a swift counter-attack.
Late strikes from Neil Kenny and Barry Locke saw Bodicote Res snatch a 3-1 success at Glory Farm Res in their Division 3 clash.
Glory Farm created the majority of the chances, but failed to convert them.
And they paid the price when Mick Hewitt scored the opener for Bodicote.
Although Ian Gilby levelled, strikes from Kenny and Locke saw Bodicote grab an unlikely victory.
