Banbury Bulls tasted defeat for the first time in Midlands 2 East South when losing their top-of the-table clash at Market Harborough 31-12.
A strong forward effort was the catalyst for the home side’s dominant display with the win seeing them leapfrog Banbury into top spot.
Banbury’s points came by way of tries to captain Sean Bannister and scrum half Eddie Phillips, while Peter Papenfus kicked one conversion.
