North Leigh produced a stunning second-half display to record an unlikely victory in Saturday’s ten-goal thri-ller.
With the Division 1 South & West game starting 45 minutes late due to the visitors’ motorway traffic problems, Hayes seemed set for a routine victory when they led 3-1 at half-time.
Ben Hayden’s header gave them the lead.
North Leigh levelled through Matty Taylor. who latched onto a header by Stuart Hole. Although his fierce drive was parried by the keeper Jarrett Leach, Taylor lashed in the rebound.
They fell behind again just before half-time when Craig Tomkins shot through a crowd into the net, from a corner.
The half ended even worse for the away side when Dan Vicente ran onto a long ball from defence and hit an unstoppable shot past keeper SamWarrell.

Numerous further chances fell to the visitors as they swarmed forward.
Their fourth goal came from a Hole free-kick, which the home side's Wes Beckles deflected past his own keeper for an own goal.
With the home side reeling from the onslaught, McCabe added a fifth goal, before Hayes’s Vince Rispoli was sent off following a foul on Caton From the resultant free-kick Hole scored his second goal and NorthLeigh's sixth when he hit a crisp shot from 15 yards past the bemused home keeper.
The visitors introduced all three substitutes shortly afterwards and were content to see the game out.
