Oxford City boss Mike Ford has thrown out a challenge to his team when they face League Two side Burton Albion on Sunday – go and grab the headlines.
Although Southern League Premier Division side City are three leagues below Burton, Ford feels they have a chance of a shock.
“Sunday is a challenge. If we perform to the best of our ability, and Burton don’t, and we take our chances, then someone is going to grab the headlines – so why can’t it be us?”
City are without Andy Baird, Liam Malone (both suspended) and Steve Davis (cup-tied), but Jamie Brooks and Mark Bell, return after illness.
Burton’s Paul Boertien (knee), John McGrath (ankle), Keith Gilroy (thigh) and Andy Corbett (thigh) are likely to miss out, while Aaron Webster (cut hand) is a doubt.
