Oxford City’s Hannah England capped an encouraging 2009 season with an ‘On Camp with Kelly’ Excellent Achievement Award.
England began 2009 by winning silver in the 1500m at the Aviva UK Indoor Championships, earning her selection for the European Indoor Championships.
In her first outdoor 1500m race of the season, she improved her personal best to 4.05.87, and then made a big breakthrough over 800m when she clocked 1.59.94 to finish fourth at the European Team Championships.
England also took bronze over 1500m at the Aviva World Trials and UK Championships, just missing out on a place in the British team for the World Championships.
