Wallingford slipped into the South West 1 East relegation zone after a 34-13 defeat at high-flying Marlow.
Marlow surged into a 12-0 lead, but a drop goal from fly half Jackson Sayce gave Wallingford hope on 20 minutes.
Another converted try put Marlow 19-3 ahead at half-time, although wing Pete Holton came close for the visitors.
Holton did manage a try after the break, but prop Kris Blaszko was yellow-carded and Marlow added a penalty and a try.
Wallingford managed a second try when Holton and replacement Ralph Smith set up flanker Will Woodward to notch out wide, but a further converted score sealed Marlow’s win.
