Peter Papenfus kicked 26 points and Eddie Phillips bagged a try hat-trick as Midlands 2 East South leaders Banbury Bulls crushed Lutterworth 81-0 at Bodicote Park.
It was a tense, close encounter for the first 15 minutes until wing Andrew Collett crossed over for the first of Banbury’s 11 tries.
Bulls led 25-0 at the break, with Phillips and Adam Walsh scoring tries and Papenfus adding two conversions and two penalties.
The second half saw Phillips complete his treble and Collett cross again, with Jed Boyle (2), Darren De Bruyn, Matthew Brock and Andy Gilbert also on target and Papenfus converting each one.
