With Oxford Hawks and City of Oxford ladies' teams not having a South Clubs’ League, the arch rivals played each other in a friendly, and City won it 2-0.
It was played in such good spirit that when City arrived two players short, Hawks’ Sue Clark lent them two players, including her daughter Anna!
City didn’t want to take players from their 2nd and 3rd teams’ important Trysports 3 Counties League games.
Annette Cooper’s goal was scant consolation as City 2nd lost 6-1 at home to Wokingham.
