Fijian captain Moses Rauluni heads a strong Saracens side who will face Oxford University at Iffley Road tonight (7.15).

The scrum half will be partnered at fly half by Owen Farrell, son of former England international Andy.

Rising star Alex Goode, a fly half or full back, and prop Tom Mercey, who have both played for England Saxons, are on the bench.

Oxford University captain Dan Rosen has named nine fellow Blues for their first home game of the season.

Hooker Rosen starts alongside props Ricky Lutton and Ollie Tomaszczyk, with locks Nic Van Zyl and Ian Kench completing all Blue front five.

Chris Davies, who impressed as a replacement in last year’s Varsity Match, gets the No 8 shirt, with John Carter moving to blindside flanker.

In the backs, wings Sean Morris and Tim Catling, centre Alex Cheeseman and fly half Ross Swanson complete the nine.

Canadian international flanker Stan McKeen returns on the bench after an injury lay-off.
