Andy Baird was sent off and Lee Steele missed a penalty as Oxford City crashed out of at the first-qualifying round stage on Saturday in the FA Carlsberg Trophy.
Baird headed Mike Fordā€™s side in front on nine minutes, only to be sent off on the half-hour for the second weekend running.
City quickly out of the blocks against the Ryam League Division 1 South side, Andy Gunn smashing a shot against the bar from a Steve Davis free-kick.
Minutes later, City went in front when Baird headed home another Davis free-kick.
However, 60 seconds later, James Clarke failed to clear, and Derwayne Stupple levelled.
City were reduced to ten men when Baird was sent off for bringing down Nathan Frater.
After the break, Lee Steele should have restored Cityā€™s lead from the penalty spot when Pond was upended, but Martin Patching saved his effort.
They were made to pay when Arlesey substitute Zema Abbey hit the winner.
