Godalming 1 (Ojukwu 10)
Banbury Utd 1 (Taylor 38)
Jason Taylor scored the equal-iser as Banbury fought back to force a replay against the Ryman League South side at Spencer Stadium tomorrow in the FA Carlsberg Trophy.
It stretched the Puritans unbeaten run to 11 matches.
The visitors, still without injured striker David Stone and hit by the late withdrawal of captain Nathan Haisley, due to food poisoning, started the stronger.
But a mistake from Banbury keeper Joe Murrell saw the home side take the lead.
Murrell missed a Marvin Martin backpass, allowing Kenny Ojukwu to tap home into an empty net.
Banbury should have equalised, but Howard Forinton blazed over a Joe Coleman corner from two yards.
But on 38 minutes, Taylor equalised when his angled drive found the roof of the net.
In second-half, Declan Benjamin and Forinton both went close to netting a winner, before Banbury were denied a penalty when Benjamin seemed to be brought down by keeper Rodney Chiweshe.
Banbury piled forward, but a winner proved elusive.
Banbury Utd: Murrell, Redknap, Martin, Milner, Learoyd, Stanbridge, Coleman, Benjamin, Forinton, Taylor, Ashton. Subs not used: Stringfellow, Buckwell, Bowerman, Livous.
Attendance: 181.
