Jamie MacDonagh scored an extra-time winner as Letcombe set up a first-round trip to Witney United after victory in the Bluefin Insurance Brokers Challenge Cup.

MacDonagh gave Letcombe the lead when he glanced in a Lyle Gifford free-kick at the far post.

Letcombe increased their lead early in the second half, Joe Kent heading in another Gifford free kick.

Letcombe then allowed Tytherington to draw level with a double from James Hicks.

Early in extra time, Tytherington’s Danny Thorpe was sent off for handling a Paul Roberts header, but Adam Pendell’s spot-kick was saved by Rob Dent.

MacDonagh hit the close-range winner in the second period of extra time, but it needed a goalline block from Harry Trethowan to secure victory.

A double from Neil Lockhart – his first goals this season helped set up a comfortable win for Headington.

Jay Hill headed in Luke Cuff’s cross and Lockhart made it 2-0 from another Cuff centre.

Seven minutes into the second half, Lockhart hit No 3 when he turned his marker and fired a low shot inside a post, before Cuff made it 4-0 from Ollie Zaja’s cross.

Although Fred Tripp pulled one back, Aftab Hafiz completed Headington’s nap hand with a fine individual strike.

Wokingham & Emmbrook 3 (Duffelen 13, Bateman 20, og 48)

Hook Norton bowed out of the competition as they were outclassed by the Division 1 East leaders.

The hosts were dominant from the off, scoring twice in the first half and making the result safe three minutes into the second half.
