Forum A’s Karl Bushell suffered his first defeat for two seasons when he went down to a shock loss against Vikings A’s Mark Scott in Division 1.
Before the clash, Bushnell had lasted tasted defeat in 2007, but Scott brought that run to an abrupt halt.
He did it the hard way, losing the opener 11-8, before easing to victory 11-5, 11-9, 11-7.
Scott also defeated Greg Boone, and Rob Williams beat Fraser Harris to earn Vikings A a valuable point, but Forum still triumphed 7-3.
Rutherford missed the chance to extend their lead over Forum, as they also dropped a point, beating British Rail 7-3.
A Boone maximum helped Forum B beat Vikings B 7-3.
John Birkin beat Arun Jogi to save Vikings from a whitewash as Bicester A beat them 9-1.
In Division 2, Forum C take over top spot by beating Begbroke A 6-4.
Witney A are the new leaders of Division 3 after beating Bicester C 6-4.
Forum G thrashed Holton 8-2, thanks to a fine maximum for Thomas Bowden, including win over Brian Dobson.
In Division 4, Bob Ford’s first maximum helped St James to an 8-2 win against Forum H.
Vikings H hit back against a Ricki Whiteaway maximum to earn a draw against Nielsens.
