Jack Ashton’s 35-yard strike propelled Banbury United into round two of the Zamaretto Southern League’s Red Insure Cup after a 2-1 win at Didcot Town.
Ashton’s winner came on 49 minutes of a contest in which Didcot had taken the lead.
Only four minutes were on the clock when Mark Draycott fired home after good work from Philip John.
Banbury equalised four minutes later when James Taylor turned and shot home from close range past Matt Trott.
North Leigh, of Division 1 South & West, rallied from 2-0 down to defeat Premier Division Brackley Town 4-2.
Ollie Burgess headed home Jamie Gould’s cross on five minutes, then Gould’s 40-yarder deceived Sam Warrell for Brackley’s second just two minutes later.
North Leigh gave themselves hope on 28 minutes when Andy Caton shot home from Andy Helby’s corner.
Caton set up Alfie Saunders for the hosts’ equaliser after 36 minutes and scored his second on 54 minutes after Richard Morris had parried his header.
Matty Taylor missed a 73rd-minute penalty for North Leigh, but sub Andy McCabe headed in another Helby corner eight minutes from time.
A much-changed Oxford City side were thumped 4-0 at Chippenham Town.
Luke Gullick’s fourth-minute penalty put Chippenham ahead, while City lost Steve Davis to a leg injury.
Jon Davies made it 2-0 on 59 minutes, then Gullick set up No 3 for Shaun Benison five minutes later.
Aaron Cornwall bagged a fourth on 80 minutes, while Mark Janes drove over from City’s best chance.
Abingdon United crashed out at home to Swindon Supermarine after a 2-0 defeat, with Joe Harris netting in each half.
