Joel King hammered a hat-trick as Hailey overturned a 3-1 half time deficit before beating Combe 5-4 in the Witney & District FA Premier Division, writes Anthony Barlow.

Tim Wyatt (2), Simon Baker and Steve Griffiths put Combe seemingly in control, but King’s treble and strikes from Sean King and Alex Bolt completed the turnaround.

Martin Latimer bagged a brace for Ducklington, who stayed top of the Premier Division with a 3-0 win against Minster Lovell. Matt Gorman added the third.

Division 1 leaders Wychwood Forest opened up a six-point gap at the top after beating Aston 3-2, with Andy Stock, John Smales and Jason Trinde netting.

Ryan Hewer and an own goal made up Aston’s tally.

Ducklington Res moved into second place after a 4-2 win over Milton.

Sean Brown scored twice, with John Clarke and Stu Cutts adding others.

Dom Hiscock and Dan Keiltey replied for Milton.

Early pacesetters FC Chequers are now two games without a win after only managing a 1-1 draw at North Leigh A.

Lewis Hathaway put the home side ahead in the first half, but a blistering strike from in-form Mo Semlali leveled matters.

Witney Royals ensured their 100 per cent start to the Division 2 season continued with a 2-1 victory over Tackley, with goals from Karl Shepherd and Chris Pardew.

Craig Broome netted for Tackley.

Chad Park remain two points behind the leaders after beating West Witney Res 3-1, with a hat-trick from George Slatter.

Rob Cockett notched the winner for Carterton A who remained top after narrowly beating Hailey Res 2-1 in Division 3.

Tom Gonzales (2) and a last-gasp deflected Richie Eastaff free-kick saw FC Chequers to a dramatic 3-2 win at Spartan Rangers. Jim Smart and Jason King replied.

Stanton Harcourt defeated Aston Res 3-1 with goals from Billy Jones (2) and Dale Cox. Paul Herbert replied for Aston.

Dan Smith grabbed four goals in North Leigh B’s 9-1 demolition of Eynsham SSC Reserves in Division 4.

Craig Horne (2), Lee Moseley, Tom Radburn and Dave Meredith also scored for North Leigh, with Keith Byles grabbing the goal for the hosts.
