Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers felt the Old Patesians clash was a game his side could have won.
He said: “Having scored first in the second half and settled down, I thought we would win.
“Unfortunately our basic skills let us down and we lost what was a winnable fixture.”
“We needed to go through the phases, but we didn’t do the basics well enough.”
Bowers added: “Old Pats do what they do very well. They are not going to set the world on fire.
“I thought the margin at half-time was a little generous and not a reflection of the first half.
“One or two decisions didn’t go our way, which was frustrating, but we didn’t deserve to be ahead.
“We had plenty of potential to get back into the game.”
