Oxford Harlequins fought back from 17-0 down to win 31-24 in a wind-affected game at Chippenham.
The hosts had the wind advantage in the first half, but crucially Quins managed a try from wing Huw Jones before the break, which underpinned their recovery.
Chippenham winger Ryan Surry scored their opening try on six minutes and added the conversion.
Quins went further behind six minutes later when No 8 Bobby Lyons drove over.
The visitors battled in defence, but conceded again when a lapse allowed centre Jonanthan Squire to score.
Centre Dom Maley and fly half Jeff Stewart then sent Jones galloping over Quins for their opening try, which Stewart converted.
On 56 minutes, scrum half Anthony Cope’s quick penalty allowed Stewart to score near the posts, the latter converting.
A solo try from Jones, which saw him field a loose ball, chip over the top and outpace the defence, put Quins ahead.
Replacement Kenny Sewell’s long box-kick allowed Maley to collect and scythe through for try No 4, Stewart converting.
On 75 minutes, a turnover, won by replacement flanker Tim Knapp, saw Cope sprint 20 metres to the line for Quins’ fifth try.
Chippenham replacement Alex Cox scored a try with the last play, but this was a well-deserved victory for Quins.
