Wallingford were outmuscled by visitors High Wycombe in a 17-5 defeat.
The hosts started brightly and took the lead after ten minutes following a scrum on halfway.
Fly half Jackson Sayce fed wing Richard Turner, who outstripped the defence to score in the corner.
Wycombe flanker Ritchie Lee ran straight through to score from a penalty, Sam Rutherford converting.
Scrum half Craig Webb forced his way over and Rutherford converted, but Wallingford felt there had been an earlier knock-on.
Lock Dorian Jenkins and flanker Mike Chapman were sin-binned after the break, while Rutherford slotted a penalty.
Wallingford flanker Will Woodward had to make a try-saving tackle and centre Angus Brettell was held up.
