OXFORD City boss Mike Ford has called on his players to express themselves and play with freedom in today’s fourth qualifying tie with Bury Town at Court Place Farm.
Ford said: “This is a massive chance for my players to put themselves on the national stage.
“It’s all about them grasping the situation and taking it in their stride, and not feeling anxious.
“We are one game away from what will be the best day of their footballing lives.
“All week I’ve been putting myself in the players’ shoes and imagining how they are feeling.
“I had the experience of losing to Marlow at Marlow – but also one of beating Dorchester 9-1, that’s why it’s such a great competition!”
Steve Davis is cup-tied and Liam Malone suspended.
Oxford City (v Bury Tn, home): from Knight, Ballard, Clarke, Baird, Perpetuini, Janes, Pond, Savage, Steele, Bell, Brooks, Alexis, Gunn, Lyon, Barisic, Morris.
