Witney United manager Andy Lyne is confident that they have turned the corner after a poor run of results was ended with last weekend’s 3-0 win at Fairford, writes GEORGE NEWMAN.
Witney had suffered three successive Premier Division defeats which has dampened their title hopes.
But Lyne said: “We’ve played well in our last three games and had no real luck or break of the ball.
“But on Saturday all the hard work bore dividends.
“We've now got one or two of our key players back from injury and it’s making a massive difference.”
Lyne names an unchanged squad for the home game against Shrivenham.
Oxford City Nomads make the long trip to Hereford-based Pegasus Juniors.
Dwaine Wiley is back in goal in place of Milan Barisic, who travels with the City’s first team.
Peter Nagi and Corey Forbes return after missing last week, while player-manager Mark Jones is also included in the squad.
Abingdon Town will be without Stuart Douglas, who will be starting his two-match suspension, as they host mid-table rivals Old Woodstock.
Christian Perkins (hamstring) and Jason Thomas (ankle) are also out.
New signing Piers McGlynn is also out with a hamstring injury, which he picked up in a midweek reserve match.
Kidlington will look to get back to winning ways at relegation strugglers, Ascot United.
Having drawn their last three matches, boss Gordon Geary said: “We haven’t been playing badly, but we haven’t been putting sides away.”
Brad Chalmers features after recovering from his leg injury, while Jerry Kapral and Danny Morgan also return.
Jimmy Deabill is suspended after recieving a red card at Reading Town last month.
Clanfield hope to upset title ambitions as they entertain Division 1 West league leaders Slimbridge.
Goalkeeper Chris Brain (back) may feature in goal, but Ben Acock (ankle) and Alan Rodgers (leg) are both doubts, while Kevin Brooks is away.
Adam Lewis is also added to the squad.
