Didcot Casuals staged an astonishing recovery as they knocked Harwell Village out of the North Berks Charity Shield, writes Phil Annets.

With ten minutes of normal time left in their first-round tie, Casuals trailed 3-0 to goals from Grant Goodall, Dan Osbourne and Liam Corrigan.

Didcot came storming back to force extra-time thanks to John Pearce, JR Willis and Wayne Jacks.

Pearce and Willis then scored in extra time as Casuals secured an unlikely 5-3 victory, seven days after they had beaten Harwell on penalties in the North Berks Cup.

Marcham triumphed 4-3 at Benson AFC thanks to a late penalty from Will Westell, who thus completed a hat-trick. Nick Lewis hit the other.

Rob Lyons, James Oliver and Nick Skiller netted for Benson.

In a tight all Division 1 clash, Faringdon Town won 1-0 at Crowmarsh Gifford thanks to a late Paul Hulme strike.

Alan Haines, Chris Pettis, Wayne Hogan, Dan Weeks and Sam Weeks all scored for Childrey United in their 5-1 victory at home to Grove Rangers for whom Dave Stebbings replied.

Grzegorz Krawczyk hit a hat-trick for Division 1 side Drayton in their 5-0 thrashing of Division 4 team Uffington United. Joe Brewerton and Billy Warner also netted.
