Northwood 1 (Christian 11)
Abingdon Utd 0
Abingdon tumbled out after a narrow defeat against Ryman League outfit Northwood.
The only goal of the match came in the 11th minute as Northwood swept forward down the left and a ball whipped in found John Christian, who fired home an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
James Faulkner was denied by Northwood keeper Mitch Swain soon after, while at the other end, the home side had a goal ruled out for offside when John Sonuga netted.
John Mills forced a smart save by Swain, who then also denied Faulkner with a super stop from a thunderous shot.
After the break, Abingdon created some good chances, but could not find a breakthrough.
Faulkner fired a shot straight at the keeper, and struck another shot over the bar.
Anaclet Odhiambo and Mills combined well, only for Mills again to be thwarted by Swain in the Northwood goal.
