Kidlington 1 (Holden 36)
Shortwood Utd 1 (Casey 87)
Kidlington were denied a victory as high-flying Shortwood equalised with just three minutes remaining in an entertaining Premier Division clash in the FTL Futbol Hellenic league.
In an excellent first half, Kidlington made all the early running, Luke Holden, who rejoined the club on Friday, seeing a drive thumping against the angle of bar and post.
James Philpott saw an effort cleared off the line, and at the other end, Tom McNamara saved well from James Singh.
Holden put Kidlington in front when he took Ben Willoughby’s cross in his stride and blasted home from eight yards.
Jimmy Deabill was then denied by the crossbar.
After the break, Shortwood stepped up their game, Matt Green shooting straight at McNamara.
But three minutes from time, the visitors equalised when Ross Casey powered home a header.

Witney Utd 3 (McMahon 36, 46, Younie 51)
John McMahon notched hit 50th goal for Witney as his side got back to winning ways at Fairford.
His first came in unlikely fashion as his vicious swinging corner sailed directly into the top corner of the net.
On the stroke of half-time, Ben Thompson was fouled in the box, but having picked himself up, Thompson’s penalty was saved by keeper Jamie Morse.
Witney doubled the lead 45 seconds after the break as a corner by Tom Butler found Thompson, who hooked the ball over his shoulder for McMahon to head home his second of the day and bring up his landmark.
Five minutes later, the game was killed off when a quick throw in by Dan Szczukiewicz found Butler, whose low cross was missed by defender Matt Reynolds and Younie pounced at the back post.
Hook Norton 3 (Moulder 3, Robbins 43, Greaves 79)
Wantage Tn 5 (Austin 4, McCullough 26, 30, Claydon 60, 87)
Richard Claydon and Liam McCullough each bagged doubles as Wantage saw off basement boys Hook Norton.
Pete Moulder put Hook Norton into an early lead when a clearance from Wantage goalkeeper Darryl Simms ricocheted off him back into the net.
Wantage levelled almost immediately through Tom Austin, then McCullough put Wantage ahead.
McCullough made it 3-1 on the half-hour, only for Hooky to hit back with an excellent James Robbins effort from an acute angle.
On the hour, Richard Claydon grabbed his first goal, before 17-year-old Danny Greaves again reduced the arrears for Hook Norton.
But Claydon had the last word, netting his second of the game to wrap up victory when he fired home a free-kick from just outside the box.
