Oxford United's promotion rivals Luton Town have been dealt a blow with star striker Liam Hatch facing another spell out with an ankle injury.
The 27-year-old missed the start of the season and, after only four games back, had to sit out last Saturday’s 2-1 win at Kidderminster.
He will now be out for some time.
Hatters coach Kevin Watson said: “I think Liam has got a dodgy ankle and he needs to get it sorted really.
“He’s got to nail down what the problem is and get it sorted out, once and for all, before he comes back again.”
