Banbury notched their first South League Premier Division 1 win in a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Brighton.
A goal down in five minutes, it took the introduction of Adrian Simmons to spark Banbury’s attack into life.
Tyson Nunneley levelled from a penalty corner and in the second half, Will Kellett fired them in front from another penalty corner.

Rover Oxford, Wallingford and Oxford Hawks 2nd all lost in the Regional division, without a goal between them.
Rover went down 1-0 at Staines 2nd, Wallingford 2-0 to Maidenhead, while Hawks 2nd crashed 10-0 at Sonning.
Rover Oxford 2nd charged back from two goals down after 15 minutes to beat Ashford 2nd 3-2 in Regional 2.
A breakaway by Ben White led to a goal from Toby Langdon, and two well-worked goals from short corners, by Chris Orme and John Rogers, completed a fine comeback.
City of Oxford saw off South Bucks 3-0 at home in Division 1. Charlie de Burgh fired them in front and Andy Small scored twice after the break.
Abingdon won 1-0 at Bicester to collect their first three points in Division 2 thanks to a second-half goal from Owen Blackburn.
Frankie Clavaud and Tim Hardy scored in Witney’s 3-2 defeat at Amersham 2nd.
