Frilford Heath were the leading performers in the Oxfordshire Ladies’ Autumn Three-ball Alliance meeting at Carswell.
They provided the first and third placed teams off the first tee, the third-ranked side off the tenth tee and the best 18-hole score.
Frilford’s Dawn Page, Viv Stephenson and Kristin Bartlett secured the first tee prize with 105 points.
Second on countback after scoring 104 were Chipping Norton’s Jayne Laurie, Chris Reeves and Anne Johnson, with Frilford’s Elizabeth Sadler, Andrea James and Penny Kendall edged into third.
Oxford Ladies trio Anne Clarke, Maggie Edwards and Clare Fox claimed the tenth tee prize on 110 points, which was the best score of the day.
Studley Wood’s Jane Hubble, Janet Lambert and Sue Jones were second on 106, with Frilford’s Jan Manson, Pam Mathews and Carol Wadsworth third on 104.
Colleen Madge, Bette Hamilton and Alison Aldred, from Frilford, had the best 18-hole score of 72 points, with two Badgemore Park trios claiming the nine-hole prizes.
