STUART Gillett has been appointed as Heythrop Park’s director of golf.

The 35-year-old (pictured) is the former general manager at Mill Ride in Berkshire and is said to bring “a wealth of experience in the golf and hospitality industry” to the new club near Chipping Norton.

Gillett said: ” I am delighted with the opportunities that lie ahead.

“We have a very discerning clientele and we want to continue to combine the traditional values of personal service with the enthusiasm that is required to run a championship property.”
