There was home success as Five Star Events held their fifth tournament of the year at The Oxfordshire.
Rob Phillips’s team, from the host club, scooped first place on 88 points, with Jimmy Tompkins’s North Oxford side second on 86.
Alastair Thomson’s team, from Minchinhampton, finished third on 85.
Seventeen teams took part in the tournament, which raised funds for Five Star’s 2009 charity Bridewell Gardens.
The Five Star Masters, the next event in the series, takes place at Huntercombe on October 29.
THE British Junior Tour comes to Magnolia Park on Saturday, November 7, with players aged six to 17 able to enter.
Derwynne Honan, Magnolia Park’s managing director, said: “We are very excited about hosting the British Junior Golf Tour.
“We realise that the future of golf is with our juniors and if we can help develop a child into a star of the future, then what more could any golf club deliver.”
