Abingdon Town striker Mark Simms has suffered a setback in his recovery from a knee injury.

He was due back soon, but boss Mark O’Hara said: “It’s a big setback, and he probably won’t play until the new year at least.”

Christian Perkins (hamstring), Jason Thomas and Lance Williams (both ankle) are out injured for the home game with Fairford Town in the FTL Futbol Hellenic League on Saturday.

Liam Barson (thigh strain), Dwight Jones (collar bone), Alex Mott (head), Marc Gass (knee) and Graham Edney (thigh) are doubtful.

Ryan Brooks (work) and Ian Lovegrove (away) add to O’Hara’s woes.
