United's coaching staff are hoping to see the players looking more refreshed after giving them some recovery time this week.
“It does take it out of you sittin on the coach for so many hours, and being away,” said Chris Wilder.
“We’ve had a little bit of a recovery week.
“We’ve still worked hard when we’ve had to, like on Tuesday, but they have had a couple of recovery days.
“And we trust the players as well when we give them a day off, that they are sensible and don’t do things that will exercise them too much.
“I’m expecting us to be nice and bright in training and go and attack the game on Saturday.”
Alfie Potter, who has been knocked sideways by a bout of flu, reported back for training for the first time yesterday.
Marcus Kelly, who has been sidelined with a toe injury, is just a week away from his return to full training with United Both players were able to work in the gym.
Alex Fisher, the former Oxford United and Oxford City striker, followed up his game against Real Madrid for the Glenn Hoddle Academy this week, by scoring in a game against Atletico Madrid.
