Oxfordshire were left to rue a host of missed chances as they went down 2-1 at home to Dorset.
Despite starting the game well, Oxon found the Dorset keeper in inspired form and were unable to find the net.
But against the run of play, they then conceded to fall 1-0 behind at half-time.
Oxon pushed forward and it looked only a matter of time before they equalised.
However, the hosts were then caught on the break and Dorset took advantage of a defensive mistake to double their lead.
Although Harry Taylor (Letcombe) fired home after good work from Luke Gardner (Banbury Utd), Oxon could not find an equaliser.
