Grove coach Nathan Brooks was delighted with his side’s demolition of Bicester.
He said: “That was probably the best performance in my time.
“It was just about recycling and possession.
“We controlled the ball and looked dangerous.
“The forwards work so hard and the backs can finish sides off.
“At half-time, I said there was a danger of complacency, but we just kept the ball.”
Bicester’s player-coach Chris Nash said: “That was the kick up the behind we probably needed.
“People need to stand up and be counted now, but we will come back.
“We are going to have to put in a lot of hard work in training to get to the level we need.
“That defeat will affect the confidence, but the first win will make a big difference. Don’t rule us out.”
