Pete Fenn (+50) got Ashton off the mark by beating Ghassam Al-Murani (+90) 150-139.
Chambers (scratch) then saw off Tony Palmer (+100) 200-186.
John Williams (+70) prevented a clean sweep when he outscored John Street (+50) 150-82.
Cowley Conservative Club A beat New Club 3-0.
Dick Hashman (+10) gave them a good start with a 200-171 victory over Alan Mander (+60), aided by breaks of 22, 22 and 27.
Arthur Coakley (+90) secured the match with a 150-131 success against Dave White (+80).
The whitewash was completed when Keith Pearce (+50) beat Alan King (+20) 200-143.
