Abingdon duo Bryan Claringbold and David Pimm will represent Great Britain in the Audi World Final in Australia after winning the UK title.
Claringbold, 63, and Pimm, 19, clinched the Audi Quattro UK Cup crown at Bowood, Wiltshire by a single stableford point.
The Frilford Heath members finished on 39 points, with runners-up Russell Taylor and Mark Lahiff also qualifying for the trip of a lifetime in December.
Claringbold and Pimm, who are both five-handicappers, came through regional qualifiers at Frilford and Woburn to reach Bowood.
Oxfordshire’s other finalist, Richard Campbell, from Childrey, finished tenth with his partner John Selby, from Newbury.
The Audi Quattro Cup, held since 1991, is the world’s largest amateur golf competition with almost 80,000 players from over 50 countries competing for places in the World Final.
EDDIE Pepperell has been named in the England squad for next season.
The 18-year-old Drayton Park member is one of 11 confirmed players in the squad, while a furtther seven are named as ‘invited’ players.
Pepperell and his teammates will have winter coaching together and be the core selected for England international matches.
The Oxfordshire’s Craig Hinton has been named in the England A squad, which is designed for players with the potential to become full internationals.
